About Us

The mission of Xpedition G.A.P., is to "Stand in the G.A.P." for families struggling with the devastating effects of Childhood cancer!

Each Labor Day Weekend, we will gather a group of 75 cyclist to ride 150 miles of the Great Allegheny Passage from Pittsburgh, PA to Cumberland, MD as a kick-off to Childhood cancer Awareness Month.  This ride will raise awareness and much needed funds for families battling for their child's lives.

Each dollar raised, will help a family with expenses that we do not normally think about as their child is being treated, such as; meals, lodging, gas and laundry.

As the medical bills mount...we will "Stand in the G.A.P." to let these families know we are there when they need it most.

At the top of each webpage, you have the opportunity to purchase an advertisement.  Each page has a different cost depending on where it is located within the site.  You will then be able to add your photo (or logo) and even a link to your web page.  Anonymous donations are welcome too - but can still be linked to a page of your choice.  No sign up or log in required - nothing to join - payments made by credit card through Paypal.  Your photo/logo/link will be active for 1 year from date of purchase.

Proceeds will be split, half going to the families and half going toward the cost of the event.

•According to IRS Publication 526, contributions earmarked for a certain individual including those that are needy or worthy are NOT DEDUCTIBLE.  Xpedition G.A.P. is registered with the IRS and the State of West Virginia however we are NOT a 501(c)3 organization.
